WOW!

Okay, I'm not too thrilled with my lame title for this post, but whatever.
So mom, and I were SCRAPING away today, and all of a sudden I noticed this guy walking up to the house. I said "hi"...and than he began to say that he has the week free, and would like to help us! He mentioned that he's been watching us for weeks now, and in his words "saw that you were only getting a few inches done a day". (HA! He's not totally off folks! It does take a LONG time to get even a little patch done.) Yeah, I had to grasp on to the ladder to make sure I didn't fall off from shock! Poor Mom was in so much shock, he had to literally take the scraper out of her hand and said "ma'am! You go inside and just sit down and relax!" I was grinning from ear to ear by now thinking "sure! You didn't tell me to go inside and relax!" JKJK

No- I was so happy!

We talked a little....His name is Bucky, and he's from Louisiana. He started to tell me, that he thinks we're crazy to take ALL the paint off right down to the bare wood. I just smiled and said " it will pay off in the end". (i think)

Bucky left and said he'll be here in the mornin'!

Deep down inside I have to wonder what he's thinking....is he regretting this lovely job?!
We shall see!!

I'm feeling like this is an answer to my prayer! Thank you Lord!
